This initiative is intended to support local businesses and families in need post-COVID-19, due to the Executive Order forcing the closure of certain industries (i.e. hair salons, theaters, etc.).  Project 2 Fold serves two purposes:
 

• To provide revenue for some of the affected businesses

• To offer a fun package to families in need in the ISD 544 School District

Each child of a family of need will receive:

​

• gift card for a standard haircut, eligible at participating salons* in Fergus Falls

  • 715 Hotheads 

  • Exsalonce 

  • Attitudes for Hair

  • Family Hair Clinic

  • Hair Studio 

• one movie ticket to the Westridge Theatre

• one pass for a game of bowling and shoe rental from Northern Aire Lanes

The entire package costs $28 per student.

​

Greater Fergus Falls has committed to funding 75 students, and the Downtown Riverfront Council has committed to funding 54 students.

​

In partnership, with ISD 544, we have identified 469 students in need, and we are asking for our community's help!  We are looking for businesses and community members to help us reach our goal of sponsoring the remainder of the students.

​
